Today I was frustrated, and even though my frustration created some angry thoughts, I controlled my emotions and my behaviours enough to not allow them to fuel my fire. Pain and hurt are inevitable, but to experience either or both does not justify their use toward others; harming others never helps us heal ourselves.

Today, as much as my mind was a battalion eager to declare war on the world with its weaponry of words, I acted bravely. In peaceful protest, I chose to say nothing at all.
